natural quick home remedies for acne scar treatment?
how can i help my friend get rid of the stubborn acne on his face? he insisted on using natural methods to get rid of them. Small itchy bumps apprearing on my scalp?
I have 2 or 3 small bumps on my scalp that don’t itch badly but every couple of hours will tend to itch what could they be they don’t bleed or anything and seem to have points on the end kind of like acne but I’ve never had itching acne before tell me your thoughts.

Sounds like a fungal infection as all the symptoms you describe is what you get with it, and if you have tried Nizoral anti fungal shampoo and it doesn’t work, it means its deep under the scalp itself so will need anti fungal tablets off your doctor to clear it,i have this and am on the tablets.

Open, bleeding sore on my scalp!!! HELP!! They don’t seem to be healing. What is this?
This week a few open, bleeding sores developed on my scalp. They started as a bump that was tender to the touch. I believe they spread because I scratched my head. What could this be??

Red bumps on scalp??
I have these sore red bumps on my scalp on occasion. I get 1 to 3 at a time usually and they can be as small as a pea, or as large as a nickel. They are usually filled with a cream colored pus and blood. If I press hard enough on them (which is very painful) they will eventually burst, but it takes a lot of effort to break them. They don’t have a head to them like a zit does and they are extremely tender. Where the bumps are small bald patches appear afterward. It’s so strange. I was planning on going to the dr, but I am a little frightened and wanted to see if anyone has experienced this or knows what it could be. They don’t really itch much, just really sore and uncomfortable. Thankyou so much for any advice you can offer me!!

Please help! My 14 year old little brother is balding!?
I’ve taken him to 3 general doctors and 4 dermatologists, I’ve asked several of my co-workers (I’m a hairstylist) and know one has a clue. He’s had this bald spot for almost a year now. He’s about to start at a new high school next week and I’m so afraid he’s going to get picked on for it. It looks JUST like ringworm but there’s no bumps or itching or anything. He says it never hurts and all the doctors have either not given us an answer or said it “appears as” his hair is getting pulled out. I have never seen him pull his hair out and he’s wearing hats all the time now. The spot was small at first maybe the size of a nickle and has expanded to about 2 inches in diameter and over the months slowly moved from the crown of his head down to the nape. It’s all grown back on the top. and the rest of his hair is completely fine. we’ve tried multiple medications, shampoos, scalp activating treatment. NOTHING has worked.

Has anyone else witnessed something like this? What should I do to cure it? and what should I do about school?

Is it unhealthy to pick these little white/yellowish sand-like balls off my scalp?
I think I might have abhorringc dermatitis maybe. When I rub my hands through my hair there are these raised bumps and when I pick them out they come off easily and without pain. The only side effect is that my scalp sometimes itches when I get done picking them out. I just don’t want to cause hair loss or permanent damage. I use Head n’ Shoulders clinical strength shampoo and also Scalpicin for itchiness. I must say that when I am nervous or stressed I pick at it more and have a slight problem with picking at the bumps on my scalp and also I get them in my ears sometimes (gross I know). I want to break this habit but also I want to know if these “balls” are okay to pick out sometimes or if I should just scrub harder when I shampoo my hair to get them out.

I don’t do this often but I just got off the phone and I picked at one area on the side of my scalp too much and now it is red. I feel like a bozo. Does anyone else have this problem?

How do I prevent little white pimples from forming on cornrowed hair?
My sister in law often puts cornrows in my twin daughters’ hair. She is very good at it, can do designs etc. I like their hair like this since it is low maintenance for me, but they always develop painful white bumps on the scalp. How can I prevent this?

Good question. It deserves expert advice, don’t you think? something seems wrong. Might be diabetes. Excess testosterone? you need your doctor to order some blood checks to see what might be what. Off you go then.
